Hitch
The factory installed or dealer installed hitch had been held for a time due to rear end collision tests. As of 7 July, a new hitch has been released. No word on recall for those that purchased one prior. Here are the new part numbers:

2. Armature Assy F PN:85030-CA020 List $75.00
3. Trailer Harness PN:999T8-CP000 List $99.00
3 hours of labor $206.00
Roof Rack Cross Bars
No word on the release of these yet. Several owners have chosen the Yakima brand.
Chrome Wheels
Chrome wheels are finally available. 20 Sep 2003.
Radio Upgrade
Upgrading/replacing the radio in the Murano is a real problem. The radio and climate controls are combined into one circuit board behind the center console facia. Some owners have installed a separate radio.
SAT Radio
Nissan still has not released a cable to install SAT radio 20 Sep 2003. But work-arounds exist on the Murano forums.
