These were added by me after purchase of the vehicle as it came with no accessories.  I bought them from Courtesy Nissan.

The cargo area protector comes in two flavors, cloth and PVC.  I purchased the PVC version.  It is color matched to my Cafe Latte interior.

The splash guards cut down on stone chips.

The sunroof wind deflector is a big help.  Nut only does it quiet down the interior when the sunroof is open, but it keeps bugs out too.

This bumper protector protects the bumper from scratches while loading the cargo area.

This was added at Regal Nissan.  Nissan Class II 2" receiver hitch.  Class II is normally 1.25" but the tow limit of the Murano is Class II.

The hitch is comprised of three parts, an armature, the hitch and the tow harness.  The armature is a replacement bumper with notches.  The tow harness is the electrical wiring and interface box.

Description Part Number Price
Trailer Hitch 999T5-CP000 $349.00
Armature Assy F 85030-CA020 $75.00
Trailer Harness 999T8-CP000 $99.00

It takes between 3 and 4 hours to install $206.00 for labor.

There are three other hitches available for the MO, Hidden Hitch and DrawTite.  The Hidden Hitch is a 1.25" receiver.  The rest are 2" receivers but are rated Class II due to the tow weight and tongue weight limitations of the MO.  A word of warning...DO NOT INSTALL WITHOUT ISOLATOR and DO NOT GO PICKING AT THE WIRES.  Here are some notes from another person that installed a Draw Tite:

He used a Drawtite ModuLite PN 18146 (word has it there is a problem with this and a replacement is coming) and in-line splicers "quick splice" 14-16 gauge.

First I would recommend disconnecting the negative battery cable before doing anything.

You remove a 30 AMP fuse in the fuse box under the hood next to the battery and replace it with a 10 AMP fuse. The fuse is labeled T/TOW.

The wire bundles you want to splice the ML into is in the back left of the trunk. There is one bundle going to the left tail light and one bundle going to the right tail light.

In the left tail light bundle, connect the white ML wire to the big thick black wire and the yellow ML wire to the green with black stripe wire.

In the right tail light bundle, green ML to green with yellow stripe, red ML to red with green stripe, brown ML to red with small blue stripe.

Last is the white wire with a connector on the end but isn't connected to anything.  It is found in the spare tire compartment. This is the wire that connects to the fuse under the hood labeled T/TOW. Connect this white wire to the ML black wire.
